How would you best describe the culture of the organisation?
At EY, our culture is built on a simple motto: One part professional, one part personal. We attract high-performing individuals from different backgrounds and experiences who — like you — bring a unique point of view and business skills. Diversity of thought is what drives EY’s innovative approach to our people and our clients’ ever changing needs.
We’ve created an environment that values the whole person and provides the right amount of flexibility so all employees can spend time on the things that truly drive them. With flexible working hours, the technology to work remotely and a holistic culture, EY people are finding the balance they need to succeed.
What does a typical day look like for a psychology graduate in the organisation?
Talent & Reward
There is no such thing as a typical day within the Talent & Reward team – such is the variety in the work that we do. One day you could be involved in designing incentive plans for executives. Another you could be developing cost models to support organisations in their enterprise agreement negotiations. Or you could be performing a gender pay parity analysis which, broadly speaking, involves examining whether males and females are being paid the same. The list goes on and on.
People and Organisation
Our people and organisation teams work with clients to help them manage their change challenges. They also help them to develop their capabilities to more effectively manage constant change. This might involve supporting clients as they develop a clear and concise vision of the future for parts or all of their organisations. It could also include coaching the board to convey the right messages during times of change and interact with each other effectively. Other focuses could be helping clients to develop managerial capabilities, designing the structure, roles and capabilities needed to deliver on a change vision, and embedding culture and behavioural change. Daily activities may include creating staff surveys to measure people engagement.
